All in pink on Roosevelt Island (Hanami)

It’s my favorite time of the year here on our island, the cheery trees are in full bloom !

And I got the wonderful opportunity that one of my favorite models, who also happens to be one of my neighbors, allowed me to take a few pictures and convince her mom to let me publish them. All in pink !

Hanami (花見?, “flower viewing”) is the Japanese traditional custom of enjoying the transient beauty of flowers, flowers (“hana”) in this case almost always referring to those of the cherry (“sakura“) or, less frequently, plum(“ume”) trees

We spent a great nice afternoon in the spring sun ! I asked my little neighbor friend if she wants to model for me again and guess what, she said yes, and we spent a nice afternoon in the spring sun.
